1: Belt Conveyor Belt Conveyor Is a Kind Of Friction-Driven Machine Which Transports Materials In a Continuous Way

It is mainly composed of frame, conveyor belt, belt roller, tensioning device and transmission device. It can form a material conveying process from the initial feeding point to the final unloading point on a certain conveying line. It can not only carry out the transportation of fragmented materials, but also carry out the transportation of finished goods. In addition to carrying out pure material transportation, it can also meet the requirements of the process in the production process of various industrial enterprises to form a rhythmic flow line.

2: The Working Principle Of Belt Conveyor Belt Conveyor Is Mainly Composed Of Two End Drums And Closed Conveyor Belt On The Tight Sleeve

The drum that drives the conveyor belt to rotate is called driving drum (driving drum); the other drum that only changes the direction of the conveyor belt movement is called changing drum. The driving drum is driven by a motor through a reducer, and the conveyor belt is driven by the friction force between the driving drum and the conveyor belt. The driving drum is usually installed at the unloading end to increase the traction force, which is conducive to dragging. The material is fed by the feeding end and falls on the rotating conveyor belt. The discharging end of the conveyor bag is driven by the friction of the conveyor belt.

3: Types, Working Principles and Characteristics of Common Belt Conveyors

Main Types of Belt Conveyor

a. Universal fixed belt conveyor is characterized by: the frame is fixed on the floor or on the basis, mostly used in inclined shaft, main underground roadway and coal preparation plant. It is inconvenient to move or erect incorrect working hours. The rubber bandwidth is 1200, 1000 and 800.

b. The rope hanger belt conveyor can be used for conveying along the trough and up-hill or down-hill in the mining area. Its characteristics are that the upper and lower supporting rollers and the hanger in the middle part of the conveyor are all installed on two parallel steel ropes. The steel rope and hanger are hanged on the top beam by the hanger. The height of the fuselage can be adjusted and can adapt to the uneven floor. The roadway has conditions of water accumulation and silt.

c. The retractable belt conveyor is used in the comprehensive mechanized coal mining face and the comprehensive mechanized tunneling face. The advancing speed of the working face is faster, and the length and transportation distance of the roadway are also changed correspondingly. This requires that the transportation equipment can be stretched and shortened flexibly and quickly. The retractable belt conveyor is designed to adapt to this kind of situation. Designed and manufactured as needed. In the comprehensive mechanized coal mining face and the Comprehensive Mechanized Driving face, the advancing speed of the working face is faster, and the length and transportation distance of the roadway also change correspondingly. This requires that the transportation equipment can be flexibly and quickly extended and shortened. The retractable belt conveyor is designed and manufactured to meet this need.

d. The high strength of steel cord belt conveyor can realize long-distance transportation of single machine, simplify transportation system, improve transportation efficiency, and lower equipment cost and transportation cost than the conveyor of common fabric core belt. The joint of steel cord belt needs to be vulcanized and re-cemented, and the operation process is complex. At present,  Coal & Mine uses a steel wire rope core belt conveyor with a rubber bandwidth of 1200 feet, and its installation length reaches 1980 M.

4: Working principle of belt conveyor

Belt conveyor is mainly composed of belt, transmission drum, tension device, idler frame and transmission device. After the tape is wound through the two ends of the drum, the two ends are joined together by the tape clip or vulcanization method to form a closed-loop structure. The belt is supported by upper and lower idlers. The belt is tightened by the tension device, which has a certain tension. When the active drum is driven by a motor and rotates, the belt runs continuously by means of friction between the active drum and the belt, thus unloading the cargo loaded on the belt from the unloading drum.
